How's that for a side effect of a video game. Me, the usually self effacing, introverted guy that rarely steps forward in a situation, is the person directing a group towards a common goal. Well damn! who'd have thought.
See, I play this MMO called EVE. Kind of a sci-fi version of World of Warcraft. I got back into it because of Carey (LOVE YOU SUNSHINE!) and even though she's left the gave, I'm hooked (and now ally's hooked too). Well, after Carey left the game, I got involved with a corp with a few guys I met on the game, and now....lo and behold, I seem to be a "manager" or something in the corp, cause I'm always getting everyone working towards a common goal in the Corp.
Looks like I might have some Leo in me after all lol!
Hell, the CEO of the Corp is going to have to be incommunicato for at least a couple months, and was talking about appointing an interim CEO, and the guy's Real Life buddy said he thinks I should be the one he makes CEO cause I've been basically doing the job already.
I don't know why, but now that I've thought about it, it just amazes me that I'm sitting here in a leadership role in the game. But it's cool though, it's kind of enjoyable to see things getting done.

Alright, I have a bit of an ethical dilema on my hands here.
There is a woman I know, whom I've joked with in the past about doing an artistic nude shoots with. At one point I jokingly teased her that if she ever decided to do one for me, I could see about paying her. She was always firm about not doing them.
Well, last night she comes to me and asks me if I was serious about the offer to pay her for posing nude. She's really strapped for money and is getting a bit desperate from the way she was talking. She's willing to sign a model release and whatnot to make everything legal, and we agreed on an amount (at least for an initial shoot that way).
The issue I'm having is that even though she has assured me that she's sure about doing this, it still can be considered as taking advantage of her being desperate for money. Is it unethical to take her up on this, or is it fair, since she's made the choice herself and is willing to sign legal documents?
I want to speak with her more and make sure she's thinking of future ramifications regarding having nudes of herself out there. (It's a crappy reality that such things CAN close doors for women in the future). I've ostensably agreed to do the shoot, but not for a few weeks (funds and scheduling giving me a legit excuse).
What do you all think?
